On April 4, 2016, 7pm there were discussions on the paving along Ryan Street from Asquith to Roseberry, which could also include continuing the sidewalk along the north side of the street.
QUESTIONS:
Should there be a sidewalk on the north side of Ryan Street at all (from Asquith to Cedar Hill/Fernwood)? If there was, what material? cement, chipped trail . . .
With the flooding issues seen this last winter, do we want to lose more permeable surfaces?
Won't a winding trail up Ryan Hill be better than a cement sidewalk on the north side?
If a trail goes up Ryan Hill, does that mean a path is needed from Avebury westward? Isn't a crosswalk at the top of Ryan Hill (Avebury) the safest place?
